2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed on the Site. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. The applicable version is the one displayed on the date of your order; you also receive it in the order confirmation e-mail.

If you are a consumer, you benefit from all the rights provided by consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes those rights.

Orders may be placed by persons aged 18 or over.

3. Products

Each product page shows the main characteristics: name, materials, dimensions, colour, care information and safety information.
Our bags are handmade from genuine leather. Variations in texture, grain and shade are characteristic of this material and are not defects. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the actual product depending on your device settings.
Products are available while stocks last. Made-to-order products show the production time on the product page.
Personalised products (“Create your bag”, “Atelier – made to order”, products with initials or engraving) are made to your specifications and are not covered by the right of withdrawal. We inform you of this on the product page before you order.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in the selected currency and include VAT. Delivery costs and any other charges are shown separately before you place your order, and the total amount payable is shown at checkout.
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import VAT or clearance fees may be payable in the destination country. These costs are not included in the product price or the delivery cost and are paid by the recipient, usually on delivery. Details: Delivery and payment.
The store’s base currency is the Romanian leu (RON). For convenience, prices may also be shown in other currencies depending on the selected country, at the exchange rate applied automatically by the payment platform at the time of display. The contract is concluded and payment is made in the currency shown at checkout, and any refunds are made in the same currency and for the same amount. Your card-issuing bank may apply its own conversion fees, which CARESTA does not control.
In the event of an obvious pricing error (for example, a price clearly disproportionate to the product’s usual value, caused by a technical error), we will contact you before shipping and you may choose to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it with a full refund.
For price reductions, the previous price shown is the lowest price applied in the 30 days before the reduction.
Discount vouchers cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated otherwise.

5. Placing an order and conclusion of the contract

Add products to your cart and go to checkout.
Enter your delivery and billing details and choose the delivery and payment methods.
Review the order summary (products, quantities, total price, delivery costs); you can correct any errors before submitting.
Tick the box confirming that you have read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
Click the “Order with obligation to pay” button.

After placing your order, you will receive an e-mail acknowledging receipt. The contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation e-mail, which contains the order summary, these Terms, the information on the right of withdrawal and the withdrawal form.

We may refuse an order in justified cases (for example, stock running out after the order was placed, reasonable suspicion of fraud, inability to deliver to the address given). In that case we will inform you and refund any amount paid in full within 14 days.

6. Payment

Accepted payment methods are listed on the Delivery and payment page and at checkout. Card payments are processed securely by the payment processor; CARESTA does not store your full card details. The invoice is issued electronically and sent to you by e-mail and in the parcel.

7. Delivery

Delivery areas, couriers, delivery times and costs are shown on the Delivery and payment page and at checkout. The risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to you when you, or a person indicated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of them.

If we do not deliver within the stated time or, where no time is stated, within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract, you may give us an appropriate additional period; if we still do not deliver, you are entitled to terminate the contract and receive an immediate refund.

8. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason, except for personalised products. You can exercise this right online using the “Withdraw from contract here” function, using the withdrawal form, or by any other clear statement. Full conditions: Right of withdrawal and returns.

9. Guarantees

Legal guarantee of conformity: CARESTA is liable for any lack of conformity existing at delivery that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery. You are entitled, free of charge, to repair or replacement (within a maximum of 15 calendar days) and, under the conditions of the law, to a price reduction or termination of the contract. 10. Gift cards

CARESTA gift cards can be used for purchases on the Site with no time limit. The card value can be used in full or in part, across several orders, until the balance is used up; the remaining balance is shown at checkout. If the order value exceeds the card balance, the difference is paid with another payment method. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law. The 14-day right of withdrawal also applies to a gift card bought online, provided it has not been used.

11. Complaints and dispute resolution

For any complaint, you can contact us at office@carestaofficial.com or +40 752 166 324 (Monday–Friday, 10:00–18:00, Romanian time). We confirm receipt of complaints within 2 working days and reply within 15 calendar days at the latest. You may also contact the Romanian consumer authority (ANPC), the alternative dispute resolution (ADR/SAL) bodies (reclamatiisal.anpc.ro) or the competent courts. 12. Intellectual property

The content of the Site (texts, photographs, logos, product designs, graphic elements) belongs to CARESTA or its partners and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written consent.

13. Liability

We strive to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date. We are not liable for temporary unavailability of the Site caused by maintenance or factors beyond our control. This clause does not limit our liability towards consumers provided by law.

14. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform its obligations caused by force majeure, under the conditions of the law. We will inform you without delay if such a situation affects your order; in that case you may cancel the order and receive a refund.

15. Personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Accepting these Terms does not subscribe you to our newsletter; subscription is separate and only with your consent.

16. Governing law

The contract is governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, this choice does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms. Changes do not apply to orders already placed.
