CARESTA commercial guarantee – in addition to the legal guarantee

Important: By law, you are entitled to free remedies from the seller if the product is not in conformity, for 2 years from delivery (legal guarantee of conformity). The CARESTA commercial guarantee does not affect, replace or limit these rights. It is in addition to the legal guarantee. Details: Legal guarantee of conformity.

1. Who provides the guarantee

2. Products covered

CARESTA-branded handbags, backpacks, briefcases, wallets, belts and other leather goods purchased on carestaofficial.com.

3. What the commercial guarantee offers

In addition to your statutory rights, CARESTA offers you, free of charge and at no extra cost beyond the product price:

1. Leather colour refresh – once, within 365 days of delivery, in the CARESTA workshop.
2. Workshop repairs for wear – within 12 months of delivery, even where the damage results from normal wear and is not a lack of conformity:
   • re-stitching loose seams;
   • replacing the zip slider or zip pull;
   • re-fixing or replacing metal hardware (rings, snap hooks, press studs);
   • refinishing painted leather edges.
   Each type of repair is carried out once during this period.

4. What the commercial guarantee does not cover

• damage caused intentionally or by major accidents (cuts, burns, tears in the leather, prolonged contact with chemicals);
• products modified or repaired by third parties;
• stains, scratches and natural colour changes in the leather arising from use, except for the colour refresh service in point 3;
• complete replacement of the outer leather or lining;
• jewellery, clothing and gift cards.

These exclusions apply only to the commercial guarantee and do not restrict the legal guarantee of conformity.

5. How to use the commercial guarantee

1. Write to office@carestaofficial.com with the subject “Commercial guarantee”, stating your order number and the service you need.
2. Attach proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, order confirmation e-mail or bank statement) and, if possible, a few photos of the product.
3. We will send you shipping instructions. For products delivered in Romania, shipping to the workshop and back is paid by CARESTA; we will send you a shipping label or arrange a courier pick-up. For other countries, shipping costs are paid by the customer.
4. The service is completed within 10 working days of the product arriving at the workshop. If, exceptionally, more time is needed, we will let you know in advance.

6. Territory and duration

The commercial guarantee applies to CARESTA products purchased on carestaofficial.com and delivered to any country we ship to, for the periods stated in point 3, calculated from the date of delivery.
